Fairly clean place & lovely and perfect staff especially at the reception desk. The most important - unbeatable location right on the beach with lounges on the sand. And close enough to the bus station, and the nearby town of LAVRION the restaurants there are varied. Great to have a gastronomic restaurant for dinner

I enjoyed the view to Poseidon temple, the clean sea and the amazing sunset. Hotel Staff is very polity.
The beach bar offers a narrow variety of cold coffees. Housekeeping scheduling should be programmed according to the guests comfort.

We spent two nights at this hotel. The room was very comfortable overlooking the sea and the temple of Poseidon. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was also large. The wifi worked perfectly. The breakfast is very rich and varied, with fresh orange juice. The staff friendly and attentive. We dined very well and nothing expensive in the hotel restaurant with a magnificent view over the Aegean and the temple of Poseidon.
They could paint the walls bright colors and appealing and perhaps remodeling the furniture in the room where we were.

Just a good pick for a weekend in Sounion with great value. The view of the Temple of Poseidon from our room was unbelievable. Bring water shoes for the beach since it can get rocky in some areas.

Perfect breakfast with the Temple of Poseiden, a beautiful view, fresh offerings for every taste. Stunning and magnificent location in Sounion just next door to the Temple of Posiedon, and a Greek island. Also, on peachful beach viewing the ancient monument.

I recently stayed at the Aegeon Beach Hotel (April 14-16, 2011). I was with my 4yr old and 6mos old sons. It is low season so the place was very quiet and relaxing. We had an automatic upgrade when we arrived to the Suite that was very spacious and very clean and a great balcony overlooking the ocean. All rooms either face the sea or the Temple of Poseidon so you are guaranteed some sort of amazing view. You are so close to the beach that the sound of the waves put me to sleep. We had a wonderful time spending the morning at the Temple of Poseidon that is around the corner and the the rest of the day at the beach behind the hotel. We had the beach to ourselves with the exception of a couple of tour buses that would stop for about 20 minutes. Traveling alone with two young boys was a piece of cake when we had Aspa at the reception desk making sure we had everything we needed and also Panos the maintenance man who went out of his way to find beach toys for my son and provide me a complimentary frappe. The next day before we left my son spent time in the playroom and had a great time. Buffet breakfast was lovely and had a nice variety as well as special requests for coffee, such as latte, capuccino, etc. Also to mention was that even though the hotel's restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner, the two restaurants right beside the hotel are fantastic. If you are looking for a remote hotel for a relaxing time, I definitely recommend this one.

Completely unexpected and gorgeous! Beautiful views of the cove and beach. Comfortable beds, spacious room. Coffee brought to the room, no charge. Good breakfast included.
Had requested one of the rooms facing the ruins, had to lean over the rail of the balcony to see them.

The staff were wonderful, very helpful. The food is very good in the restaurant and the portions are very large, (I had an appetizer of mushrooms that could feed four people). The view of Poseidon Temple from the terrace is wonderful. We enjoyed its view from our balcony too. We stayed at this hotel because it was a 45 minute drive to the airport as we didn't want to stay in Athens and get caught up in the traffic, (we had a rental car). It was a little hard to find, but stay on the winding road and once you are in Sounion at Poseidon Temple you can see the hotel. Our visit was low season at mid September, quiet but nice and still very warm (34 degrees C). We like to snorkel and the rocky outcropping was a good place to see fish.
Because we were there in mid September (low season) the beach bar closed very early. I wanted to have a glass of wine and write in my journal but they were closed at 6:00.

The fine views of the Temple of Poseidon were lovely! We enjoyed our stay with my five adult kids, spending sunny days on the beautiful beach and indulging in local dishes that was really nice.
My wife says that we needed more activities for families, especially after dinner.

Both of the girls on reception were very good. We were allowed in our room early which was great as we had just flown in from Sydney. Apologies were made and discount given because the restaurant wasn't operating. Location was great. We picked the hotel for it its closeness to the Temple.
Breakfast wasn't ready at 7.30am as we were told. Only a problem because we had a flight to catch and had to leave by 8am.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was exceptional - the location is superb (beachside, overlooked by the Temple of Poseidon) and its proximilty to the port of Lavrion and of course, Athens, is excellent. Highly recommended.
